How to find your FTP settings:
Login to the control panel at https://www.truepath.com/login.html and enter your user name and password. Navigate to the FTP settings by clicking on "FTP/User Account" button, which expands and gives two options, FTP User and FTP. Select FTP User. NOTE - the default control panel theme or skin is shown below. The "skin" or look and feel of the control panel can be changed in the "Look And Feel" section.
This page also includes all of the settings you need for using an FTP application such as Filezilla. The three fields needed for FTP programs, such as FileZilla include, Host, User name, and Password. A port number can be blank or use the default (21). The "Host" in this example is web3.truepath.com, but yours may be different. Depending on your FTP application, the "Host" may be called "Server" or "Host name". The user name is typically the same user name for your account. If you setup an FTP sub-account, the additional users will be listed at the bottom. The password is initially the same password as the control panel password, but the password can easily be changed by clicking on the "Change" icon.
*Note - make sure to upload the files into the directory with the same name as the website.
When you first login to your control panel account, note the allocated disk space under "Disk usage". The example is for a Complete Hosting Plan with a 6000MB limit . The limits vary according to the hosting plan. NOTE - the default control panel theme or skin is shown below. The "skin" or look and feel of the control panel can be changed in the "Look And Feel" section.
Navigate to the FTP settings by clicking on "FTP/User Account" button. That expands and gives two options, FTP User and FTP. Select FTP User
On the line labeled "Quota" the current settings are displayed. The example used is from a Complete Host Plan and shows 3000MB, but the Complete Host Plan includes 6000MB, so it is safe to increase this value by clicking the "change" icon.
Enter the new disk quota. and click "Submit". We recommend setting the quota to the maximum for your hosting plan - in this example, 6000MB. If the quota is set too low, problems may occur when attempting to upload web content.
Verify the quota has been successfully updated by checking the line labeled "Quota" again. It should now read the new limit.
